We won't relent on graft war, says Wabukala

The anti-graft agency has said it will not relent in its war to weed out corruption and arrest suspects.

The commission's chairman Eliud Wabukala said they will make arrests on anyone as long as they do it within the law.

He spoke when he addressed residents of Bungoma at Lwandanyi ward during the launch of an integrity centre at Archbishop Eliud Wabukala ACK Malakisi secondary school on Tuesday.

‘Of late you have heard of senior people being arrested and saying that it’s a big embarrassment to them, why can’t they avoid this embarrassment by not taking the public money since the money,? he asked.

Wabukala said corruption remains a serious impediment to the development of the county.

Present at the event was Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wangamati, his deputy Charles Ngome, members of Bungoma cabinet executive, County Commissioner James Kiandaa, County Director of education Charles Onyego and MCAs.
