Two people have perished in a road accident involving a Nissan matatu and a private car at Subuiga black spot in Buuri sub-county, Meru.
Those who died were travelling in the private car to Timau.
Area OCPD Joseph Obara said several others were injured.
"The private car driver miscalculated the distance when overtaking. Several passengers in the matatu were injured after the head-on collision," he said.
The
Matatu was from Nanyuki heading to Meru.
The bodies were moved to Meru teaching and Referral hospital morgue.
