Busia governor Sopeter Ojaamong has said he will not seek any elective seat in 2022.

“I will focus on national politics,’’ he said during the thanksgiving of chief officer in the Deputy Governor’s office Andrew Otiti.

The ceremony took place at Kidera Primary School on Saturday.

Ojaamong said Deputy Governor Moses Mulomi will take over.

“Those who used to compete with me should know that their worthy opponent is now Mulomi, not Ojaamong. Whoever plays his or her cards well will carry the day,’’ he said.
