ODM has started revamping the party at the counties to strengthen its membership ahead of the 2022 election.

Party secretary general Edwin Sifuna, strategist David Ndii and membership director Rosemary Kariuki met on Monday in Kiambu town.

They held discussions with Kiambu county officials on how to popularise the party in the constituencies.

“We will now visit Vihiga and Kakamega,” Sifuna said.

The secretary general said ODM supports the March 9 unity deal between Opposition leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“The party will, however, continue to fulfil its agenda,” Sifuna said. Kiambu secretary Charles Mbugua said ODM will soon fill positions left vacant by members who quit.
