Flood waters have caused considerable damage at the IEBC's office in

Kajiado East constituency.

Documents were seen soaked in dirty water and other equipment in pools of water.

On its account on Monday, the commission said it was assessing the damage.

"Our ...office in Isinya has been overwhelmed by the rains," the commission said.

It has rained heavily in several parts of the country for about three weeks now and at least 15 people have drowned.

Several people died in Kajiado and Magarini last week as a result of the rains.

In Nairobi, morning rains wreaked havoc on March, 15 causing frustrated residents to ask for something like the Noah's Ark. Many of the city's waterways are clogged and the waters unearth garbage that has been uncollected.
