Raila arrives for Nasa meeting on deal with Uhuru

Opposition leader Raila Odinga has arrived in Athi River for a meeting with his Nasa co-principals following his unity deal with the President.

Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang'ula (Ford Kenya) said they were not aware that Raila would meet President Uhuru Kenyatta and reach an agreement as was the case on March 9.

Among those present are former Senators Boni Khalwale (Kakamega) and Johnson Muthama (Machakos) and Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa.

There had been speculation that Rthe ODM party leader would not attend the meeting as he earlier sent Siaya Senator James Orengo, a lawyer who represents Nasa in legal matters.

But Raila's spokesman Dennis Onyango had said he would likely attend the forum.

to discuss Raila's deal with

President

Uhuru Kenyatta.

After their talks at Harambee House, Raila and Uhuru agreed to unite for peace and healing after last years' bruising political battle.
