Two decomposing bodies were on Thursday found dumped along Kwale- Kinango road in Shimba hills forest, Matuga.

The bodies were spotted around

1 pm

by residents who were passing by.

A resident, Athman Matsudo said that he was informed by people who were passing through the road that the area has an unusual

smell and decided to check.

"I went to find out the source of the odour only to find two bodies lying there. I informed the police immediately," Matsudo said.

Police who visited the scene said they were yet to identify the bodies since no documents were found on them.

Area chief Ali Mwamngobo said the two men might have been killed elsewhere and their

bodies brought there.
