WIPER leader Kalonzo Musyoka has asked his supporters not to lose faith in him after he skipped the much-publicised swearing-in ceremony.

Kalonzo blamed his absence on the pulling out of his security team.

Opposition leader Raila Odinga was the only principal who showed up after Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula also failed to turn out.

In an interview on Mbaitu FM, a local Kamba station, Kalonzo said he was ready for the event until the Government withdrew his security detail abruptly.

"I was at my house in Karen when a police lorry came very early and took all my bodyguards, there is no way I could have made it to Uhuru Park, I wish Kenyans could understand what we are going through, " Kalonzo said during the interview.

Kalonzo said he is ready to take the oath just like Raila and his absence should not be interpreted to mean he has changed his course.

He said the NASA principals will meet before the end of this week to plan on the way forward and set a new date

for his swearing in.

"We talked with my colleagues Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula and when it was clear we won't make it we asked Raila to proceed, we are very united. Jubilee remains illegitimate government and we will do everything possible to get electoral justice," he said.

Earlier, the three co

principles said the coalition is still united despite their absence at Uhuru Park.
