Madoya wins Player of the Year award at the Sportpesa KPL gala

The Sportpesa Premier League gala dinner was held at Sankara Hotel on Friday last week.

The best football players in the Kenya Premier league were awarded for their outstanding performance over the previous season.

Among the players recognised in the award were Posta Rangers goalkeeper Patrick Matasi, Gor Mahia forward Meddie Kagere and Mathare United George Owino.

Top above all was Zoo Kericho midfielder Michael Madoya, who was named the Most Valuable Player, besides scooping three other awards on that night.

Present were Sportpesa CEO Ronald Karauri, KPL outgoing chairman Dan Aduda and Kericho Governor Paul Chepkwony.
