Former Kibwezi MP Kalembe Ndile has implored upon the government to open a trauma counseling centre for election losers.

Ndile, who vied for Mavoko MP last year, said that like death, the effects of an election loss are disastrous and badly affect politicians in a big way.

He spoke at Kairi secondary school in Gatundu North during the funeral of his close childhood friend the late John Gachanja.

During the funeral, the former MP asked NASA leader Raila Odinga to accept that he lost the August election and seek counseling over the same.

He said the Opposition leader's claim that the election was rigged in favour of President Uhuru Kenyatta has pit Kenyans against each other.

"Let Raila drop his planned swearing in and humbly accept defeat since Kenya cannot have two presidents," the ex-legislator said.

He described the ODM leader as a perennial loser who never accepts defeat.

"I remember after the death of his father the late Jaramogi Odinga, Ford Kenya held an election in Thika where he lost to Kijana Wamalwa and he still cried foul."

The former legislator called on Kenyans, and Raila followers in particular, to move on adding that the oath promises is only for purposes of giving them false hope.

He spoke in the wake of NASA's insistence that the ODM chief will be sworn in by the People's Assembly the team initiated after the October vote.
