Three ODM MPs on Saturday accused the National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale of impeding dialogue between President Uhuru Kenyatta and NASA's Raila Odinga.

Homa Bay's Gladys Wanga, Samuel Atandi (Alego Usonga), and Lillian Gogo (Rangwe) told Uhuru to forget about the talks after Raila is sworn-in on January 30.

"Duale thinks we are not serious with our swearing-in plans. He needs to know that we are not ready to be in a country of electoral injustices," Atandi said.

The three said the National Supper Alliance (NASA) leaders had given Jubilee ample time for the talks but they remained adamant.

Atandi said they will not allow any dialogue after Raila and Kalonzo Musyoka are sworn-in as a president and deputy president.

The Opposition has announced plans for the swearing in ceremony which they said is at an advanced stage.

"NASA leaders had extended a hand for dialogue but Jubilee declined to participate. The door for dialogue will be closed as soon as Raila is sworn in," Atandi said.

The legislator held that the talks would have introduced democratic reforms in the electoral process, adding that NASA should not be castigated for proceeding with the oath plan.

The MP said the coalition had formulated a structure for the conversation that would have ended the dispute around the August 8 and October 26 presidential poll.

Raila withdrew from the repeat election and asked his supporters to stay away saying the IEBC had not heeded their demands for reforms ahead of the vote.

Wanga told NASA supporters to be ready for the swearing in ceremony.

"The NASA team has scheduled the inauguration of People's Assemblies and we are optimistic of Raila's swearing-in on January 30," she said

Gogo said they will not relent in advocating for electoral reforms in Kenya.

"We have to ensure Kenyan electoral system is favourable to real winners only," the legislator said.

They spoke during a funeral at God Bondo village in Rangwe constituency, Homa Bay county.
