A Kenyan Journalist Dennis Omondi undergoing treatment in India has suffered a major blow to after he failed to find a compatible bone marrow donor.

Omondi who was to undergo bone marrow transplant this week will have to wait longer after four of his brother's test as donors failed to match with him.

“My four brothers have done bone marrow test as donors but unfortunately none of them matches with me. With this, it means I will have to wait for long as hospital figure out where on earth to get someone who similar cells/bone marrow like mine. This means more cost,” Omondi said.

The 31-year-old photojournalist at West Media, was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia (Cancer of the blood cells) at Kenyatta National Hospital on January 10 and since then, life has not been the same for him and his family.
