MP Johana Ngeno has asked DP William Ruto to broker a peace deal with his Rift Valley "enemies" ahead of the 2022 Presidential race.

Ngeno said although the DP commands a huge support in the region, he should reach out to his rebels so as to walk together.

The

fearless MP who was elected on a Kanu ticket on Saturday asked the Ruto face-to-face to reduce his enemies ahead of tough 2022 race.

“I have been your friend and sometimes an enemy but I want to tell you the truth. You are unbeatable though your enemies are tough. We have recently seen a trend of handshakes and I also want a handshake with you” he said.

Ngeno was speaking during the homecoming ceremony of Bureti MP Japhet Mutai at Kapkatet.

Ngeno is a

close ally to Kanu chairman Gideon Moi who has also declared his bid for the presidency.

He added, “I am too junior to be your enemy. Though I am in Kanu, I will be back”

Ngeno said, DP is stronger than Gideon and in due course, the community will talk and agree to back one candidate.

Recently Ngeno accompanied

Rift Valley MPs to visit former President Daniel Moi at his Kabarak home.

Also

present were former Bomet Governor Isaac Rutto and embattled Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter.
