Jubilation as pupils perform well, top girl gets 432 marks

It was thanksgiving across the Kirinyaga county as students, teachers and parents gathered to celebrate this year’s KCPE exam results.

Top candidate Esther Kibe of Kerugoya Good Shepherd Academy earned 432 marks.

Pupils, teacher and parents attributed success s to hard work and determination over eight years.

The academy has emerged best in the county with a mean score of 400 marks.

All the 165 candidates who sat the exam scored more than 320 marks. Thirty candidates scored more than 400 marks.
