He said Raila's grand welcome rally, dubbed 'a million march', is on and will start at the airport despite the police ban.
Security agencies said the airport is a protected area so they cannot allow such a multitude into the premises.

Earlier, journalists were denied entry to JKIA for a press conference called by NASA leaders.
Police blocked the main gate
and ordered them to reverse saying no politician would be allowed into the facility.
On Wednesday,
IG Joseph Boinnet warned NASA against
mobilising large crowds to march to the airport.
But
Boinnet said:
"It is not advisable to mobilise huge crowds to travel to that facility as it risks jeopardising
