Starehe MP Charles Njagua has said he won the August 8 general election without manipulation.

He said on Thursday that the final voted tallied represented the will of the voters.

"The outcome of the votes in the entire voting process proved that I sweated (sic) through my campaigns and rallies and I used a lot of time and energy to travel the constituency and convince them to elect me," he said.

Jaguar was testifying in a petition filed against his victory by businessman Steve Mbogo.

Mbogo claims the election was manipulated in Jaguar's favour. He told the court on Thursday that his agent was stabbed.

He said he was denied entrance at some polling stations, adding there was stuffing of ballots in favour of the current MP.
