Cotu chair Francis Atwoli has told IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati

to be "man enough" and ask for more time to effectively prepare for Thursday's election.

"Chebukati is not acting bold enough in his decision as a Luhya. He need to stand up and ask for more time, even if it's three months to adequately prepare for the repeat election," Atwoli said on Saturday.

He said Jubilee cannot defeat NASA in a free and fair contest and the two parties need to dialogue on the parameters for a free and fair election.

"There must be dialogue for each side to know who are the handlers of elections and what are the rules of the game," the trade union boss added.

He said President Uhuru Kenyatta will not lose his manhood be accepting to talk to Raila Odinga.

Atwoli added that he does not belong to either party and is only giving his opinion on the way forward.

He said he is among individuals who can speak without fear or favour in order to move the country forward.

He maintained that the election should be postponed until all sides reach a middle ground to guarantee a violence-free exercise.
