Chief Justice David Maraga has struck out Thirdway Alliance presidential candidate Ekuru Aukot's case on vying again.

Maraga said on Thursday that the court has no jurisdiction to hear issues raised by Aukot.

Hes told parties the right forum for the interpretation sought is at the High Court.

Aukot wanted an interpretation as to whether he is eligible to contest the repeat poll, which has been set for October 17.

The politician said IEBC's move to lock him out of the race was illegal and unconstitutional.

He argued that having contested the August 8 poll, his rights and those of his supporters will be infringed should he be barred.

The electoral body arrived at the decision based on one made in 2013.
