Lufthansa Group increases Nairobi flights ahead of the tourism peak season

Lufthansa Group has added two additional weekly flight to Nairobi ahead of the high tourism season, they announced yesterday.

Lufthansa and subsidiary Swiss International Airlines will both add their sixth flights from June 21 and July 6 Frankfurt and Zurich, respectively, from aimed at serving the general East African region.

“We are excited to further support tourism in Kenya by providing more capacity for visitors and at the same time giving Kenyan travellers more options for their summer holidays,“ Lufthansa Group East Africa general manager for sales Tobias Ernst said in a statement.

Lufthansa’s flights to and from Nairobi will carry its Star Alliance partner United Airline’s code, offering even more seamless connections to the carrier’s US network.
