A man was attacked and severely injured by a buffalo in Karati, Naivasha county, on Monday.
The flower farm worker from Karati
is nursing broken hands and legs at Naivasha sub-county hospital.
Area chief Samuel Ng'ang'a said the father of two was walking home when the lone buffalo attacked him.
The attack came a week after more than 40 buffaloes raided nearby farms destroying crops worth millions of shillings.
"We are worried by the high number of buffaloes that have raided this area in search of pasture and have written to KWS to take action before we lose lives," Ng'ang'a said.
