Two men wielding guns were caught on a closed circuit TV in a brazen robbery of an M-Pesa agent in Nairobi's Kahawa Wendani area.

A time stamp on the footage shows that the robbery took place past 6pm on Saturday evening.

The two men are seen posing as customers at a money transfer outlet shop.

A third man also enters the shop and seems to be inquiring the whereabouts of the agent who is initially not visible in the frame.

After the third man leaves the shop, one of the other suspects is seen prying off bars from the counter before jumping over.

It is then that he pulls the M-Pesa agent who had been hiding, from under the counter.

He then proceeds to ransack the counter collecting money and mobile phones which he passes to his colleague who was standing guard.

The third man meanwhile returns and is almost trapped in the shop when the suspect standing guard attempted to bar him from leaving.

The suspect pulls out a pistol which makes the third man flee from the shop.

Passersby are seen hurrying past the shop while the two men collect the cash and the valuables.

The suspects then make away with the loot as the seemingly anxious attendant interacts with a passerby outside the shop.
