I think Chelsea start favourites against Manchester City despite the return of Toure

Manchester City Vs Chelsea, Today 3:30pm,
My Prediction: The Citizens.. 2 Blues..2

Just one point separates these two teams which is very little at this time of the season. Both Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte have solid squads that are performing very well together. In fact, Guardiola is lucky that Yaya Toure is back because the Ivorian has returned in fine form. In their last six games, they’ve won three and drawn three but Chelsea are on a roll having won their last seven games. It’s unbelievable that a club can put a midfielder like Cesc Fabregas on the bench and still win every game. Fabregas has had two weeks out after coming back from a slight injury but I’m not sure whether Conte should or needs to put him back in the starting eleven; even though he is one of the best midfielders in the world. Yes that’s how much talent is in their squad right now. Willian is also back even though he hasn’t been missed; but we all know what he can provide for a Blues side. Mentally, I think Chelsea are ahead in this one but City won’t take this lying down. Not with Sergio Aguero and Toure scoring so freely right now. There will be many goals but I don’t think there’ll be a winner.

West Ham Vs Arsenal, Today 8:30pm,
My Prediction: Hammers ..1 Gunners..3

Oh West ham! Oh Arsenal! Two teams that had a good weekend last week but a dismal midweek. The draw at Old Trafford in the league was a good result for the Hammers but they were smashed midweek in the EFL Cup. I guess we all know that they were lucky and United were unlucky in the league fixture. Midweek, Arsenal weren’t the team we know and love. As expected manager Arsene Wenger put up a weak side for the league cup and they disappointed us all. But Wenger won’t take such risks in the league because we can’t afford to lose sight of the three teams ahead of us. We are only three points behind league leaders Chelsea but we need to take advantage of the fact that either Chelsea or City will drop points this weekend or both will pick up just a point. It’s a perfect time for us to cut into the top three and we can. The league is more important to the Gunners and we won’t mess this up.

Bournemouth Vs Liverpool, Tomorrow 4:30pm,
My Prediction: Bournemouth... 1 Reds...3

Oh lucky Liverpool will go back on top of the league this weekend. As Arsenal showed you last weekend; Bournemouth are here to escort others in the league and won’t pose much competition to top flight sides. Liverpool, however, will struggle generally in the league without Philippe Coutinho, who has been superb this season. He is out for five weeks due to injury but I don’t think they’ll miss him much against Bournemouth. In fact Jurgen Klopp’s side just need to keep an eye on Jack Wilshere, who couldn’t play against Arsenal but I still don’t think they’ll give the Reds a hard time.

Everton Vs Man United, Tomorrow 7pm,
My Prediction: Toffees.. 1 Red Devils....3

I was so banking on Everton to beat Southampton last weekend but they were taken to school. In fact, I would have expected the Southern England club to score more goals but the one they did was enough to get them three points. Everton are struggling and are up against a rising Man United side. United have been very unlucky in their last two matches; drawing at home with both West Ham and Arsenal in matches, where they played well. The midweek match was a sign of the United side that hopes to turn it’s fortunes around. I would really love to predict a loss for United but I must admit that they are looking good and aren’t about to lose this one.
