Baringo MCAs claim county pays 107 ghost workers

Baringo MCAs and the county executive have differed over allegations there are 107 ghost workers in Governor Benjamin Cheboi’s government.

On Wednesday, the MCAs said the county pays ghost workers, whose names are not either on the employment list or the payroll. But county secretary Stella Kereto said the issue of ghost workers has not been brought to her notice.
