Early marriage, female genital mutilation, child labour and schools closure by parents due to poor results have led to high school dropout rates in Mbeere South subcounty, deputy county commissioner Beverly Opwora said on Saturday.

She spoke at Mariari Secondary School during a prize-giving day.
