Chelsea? For champs they’ve had rather strange results but they should beat Villa

Aston Villa Vs Chelsea Today 2:45pm
My Prediction: The Villagers 0-2 The Blues
I don’t know why I’m bothering with small teams but until the season ends; I’ll humour Chelsea supporters like Shaffie Weru and continue to predict their matches. Aston Villa are as good as relegated! Even though they can survive mathematically, they are 12 points off the survival points. Villa sacked their manager Remi Garde this week so they don’t have a real boss right now. Morale is at an all time low and they stand no chance against the Blues. So if Chelsea fluff this one; then indeed they are rubbish right now. The Blues haven’t lost a game since the 14th of December when they fell to league leaders Leicester; and they haven’t lost under Guus Hiddink! But they haven’t exactly been on top of their game. In their last ten, six have been draws; so they still find themselves in an embarrassing 10th position. It doesn’t matter who’s in or out; Chelsea will sadly win this.

Arsenal Vs Watford Today 5pm
My Prediction: The Gunners 3-0 Watford
Oh my! This should have been a walkover but top of the minds of all Gunners is the fact that Watford kicked the Gunners out of the FA Cup last month; a match I’d much rather forget! On paper this is our game. Jack Wilshere and Thomas Rosicky are back in full training but knowing manager Arsene Wenger, he won’t rush any of them back. There was a scare last week that number two keeper David Ospina was injured but he has since dispelled that and played for country. Petr Cech is also very close to coming back but it’s not clear whether he’ll be fit for this game. I must say I was impressed by Ospina’s performance; particularly against Everton just before the international break. On paper we have nothing to worry about and we will be out to exact revenge against this small team that dared knock us out of our own competition. But we must not rest on our laurels!

Liverpool Vs Tottenham Today 730pm
My Prediction: The Reds 3-3 Spurs
I will be supporting Liverpool tonight for obvious reasons that as a Gunner we need Spurs to be stopped; but for some reason the Reds always let me down. I watched their last match against Southampton that was somewhat of a joke! How can you give up a 2-0 lead to lose 3-2. NKT! Jurgen Klopp is seriously letting me down and probably showing Liverpool that letting go of Brendan Rodgers was a big mistake! The Reds have the quality and have won some big matches this term; but Spurs are looking good. Their boys turned up for England during the international break and any team should fear them right now. Spurs are chasing the title while Liverpool want a Europa spot. This is going to be one tough but interesting fixture.

Manchester United Vs Everton Sunday 6pm
My prediction: The Red Devils 2-2 The Toffees
Man United are just strange. They lose to West Brom and then they beat Man City! Absolutely no consistency in their season at all. Everton meanwhile have lost four of their last ten matches and that is performing below average; given that they do have some pretty talented players. Another team that’s been inconsistent this term. Usually by this time of the season they are fighting for a Europa spot but instead they are on page two. This is sort of the battle of the desperados! Desperate to enter top four and desperate to enter page one. This will be an equal battle so I predict a draw.
