Koroga Premier League Kicks off

Curry in A Hurry, an eatery along General Mathenge road, on Sunday transformed into a cooking battlefield. East FM were hosting the start of this year's edition of Koroga Premier League.

The huge event draw tens of attendees to what was the first round out of a total of four. Seven presenter teams took part including Riya Sharma’s Swad and Swag, Vikash Pattni’s Vicky Donors, Jasmine Postwalla’s Dilwale Dons, Allaudin Qureshi’s Wapishi Mastane, Kamal Kaur’s Urban Tadka Returns, Nilofer Abji’s Tadka Marke and Irfan Kassam’s Team Tung Tung. The competition was judged by Shailen Shah, Mini Patel and Pradeep Mullick.

The event was proudly presented by Sportpesa, powered by Jameson. Co-Sponsored by Alpha Fine foods and Al’s Kitchen, Monarch Lal Qila Rice, Golden Fry, Renuka coconut powder and Aquamist Mineral water. The event was partnered by Bunny Industries, Chandarana Food Plus, and Raka Cheese.

The four teams from this round to move to the semi-finals were Wapishi Mastane, Urban Tadka Returns, Tadka Marke and Team Tung Tung.

Round 2 qualifiers takes place on Saturday, at Spice Roots.
