Arsenal performance today against Burnley in FA Cup will depend on Wenger's line-up

Arsenal Vs Burnley, Today 6pm,

My Prediction: Gunners...2 Burnley...1

Oh as much as I would love to dismiss Burnley; after doing a little research I realised that I shouldn’t. They are doing extremely well in the Championship and if they continue in their current form; they may find themselves in the Premier League next season.

They are third in the Championship and haven’t lost a game since Boxing Day; and that was a 3-0 loss to Championship leaders Hull City. In their last five games they’ve won four so they’re on a bit of a roll. Burnley beat Middlesborough to get here and Borough are actually second in the Championship ahead of Burnley.

This will be tough but it depends on who Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will play. If Arsenal’s first eleven are selected, then it will be a piece of cake but the ‘Professor’ tends to save his best players when facing non premier league sides.

It’s a catch 22 because the Gunners do need the first 11 against Southampton midweek; but I would start the first eleven and then when we’re ahead; remove three key players.

February is going to be a busy and rough month; particularly for Arsenal and Wenger needs to be at his smartest! As usual, I’ll stick behind my boys and go for a slim win; because I know Wenger will rest key players.

Liverpool Vs West Ham, Today 830pm,

My Predition: Reds....2 Hammers...2

Poor Liverpool. They had to play long and hard to overcome Stoke City in the League Cup semi final midweek and now they’re up against another Premier League side in the FA Cup. But to be honest, I don’t care. I want them to lose because well— they’re Liverpool.

Liverpool needed a reply to get passed Exeter in the last round while The Hammers got a slim 1-0 win over Wolves to find themselves here. West Ham started the league with so much steam; rolling over several big boys; and even though they have only lost one game in their last ten and find themselves 5th in the premier league standings; six of their last ten matches have ended in a draw.

They’ll though be encouraged that earlier this month they beat the Reds 2-0 and former Liverpool striker Andy Caroll seems to love to score against his former side. Liverpool have four losses in their last ten premier league matches and even though I admire Jurgen Klopp; something ain’t just clicking in the side.

This will be a tough game and I actually think it’ll end in a draw and set up yet another replay for the Reds. Yeah I’m laughing!

MK Dons Vs Chelsea, Tomorrow 7pm,

My Prediction: MK Dons....0 Blues...3

I think MK Dons knocked Manchester United out of the FA Cup this time last year; or was it the year before so I wouldn’t dismiss them just yet. They are not Arsenal and Chelsea needs to know that. The Gunners are the only team, for some bizarre reason, that is giving the Blues any respect this season and I hope that Guus Hiddink’s boys come into this over-confident following that victory over Arsenal.

Unlike Arsene Wenger, Giddink will front his best players because this is Chelsea’s only realistic chance of silverware this term; although they are strangely still in the Champions League. Unlike Wenger, he doesn’t need to give the league priority as his only job is surviving relegation.

The Dons are way down in 20th in the Championship and they’ve had an easy round of matches to get here; but I’m afraid I’m reluctantly with the Blues on this one. They have just been given such an easy tie so let them win this and then hopefully face someone like Man City next.
