An 85-year-old woman died on Tuesday evening after she was stung by bees in Kihatha, Nyeri county. Four others, among them two children, were taken to hospital.
The woman died at Nyeri Referral Hospital. The neighbourhood has been deserted as the bees continue to hover over it.
