A man in Mombasa suffered deep cuts and died after his wife allegedly attempted to chop off his genitals for being jilted.
Kisauni police boss Richard Ngatia said the man was rescued by neighbours who rushed him to hospital after the attack in Bamburi area on Friday night.
Neighbours said the couple picked a fight after the wife found the man with another woman at a pub.
“Upon reaching the house the woman grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed the husband several times," said Haningtone Ochieng'.
“His body was lying on a pool of blood when we arrived."
Ngatia told the Star police are searching for the woman believed to have gone into hiding.
