Aston Villa Vs Arsenal, Tomorrow, 4:30pm,
My Prediction: Villa.....0 Gunners...3
Oh my! Villa are bottom of the standings with just one win in 15 games. There’s no way that’s going to change in this game. Arsenal on the other hand are in fine form despite the injury challenges. The Gunners were sensational against Olympiacos in the Champions League and last weekend; though we were given some nervous moments in the first half; they were convincing in the second half against Sunderland. Six goals in our last two games is impressive. It shows that we do not, at the moment, have any striking challenges. Joel Campbell was impressive in the Champions League tie and so was Mesut Ozil; but that’s become the norm this season. Olivier Giroud is in the form we need him to be in; while Petr Cech never fails to deliver. We are on top of the world and this tie will be a piece of cake.
Liverpool Vs West Brom, Tomorrow 7pm,
My Prediction: Reds... 2 Baggies...1
Liverpool shocked everyone last weekend when they failed to click in their match against Newcastle. Every pundit and their mum predicted a Liverpool win but it didn’t happen. And there was no excuse. Same team, same wonder Manager. I do respect though the way Jurgen Klopp handled it. He said they displayed poor form and needed to accept the defeat and move on. He completely understands the notion to deal with your issues and move forward. And I bet they’ll be back with a bang this weekend. Daniel Sturridge has a fresh injury but I think the Reds have learned to deal with that. West Brom recently beat Arsenal but it was during the tough November month so I won’t moan about it. They however, went on to draw with Spurs and West Ham, which was pretty impressive given the form of these two opponents. But I have a strong feeling that Klopps boys will recover to do well this weekend.
Leicester Vs Chelsea, Monday 11pm
My Prediction: Leicester...2 Blues...1
Should I just laugh and give my prediction? Every weekend we say that Leicester will falter but it ain’t happening. James Vardy is in such unbelievable form and the entire squad is delivering. Manager Claudio Ranieri knows exactly what he’s doing and what he’s managed to do with a “small” team is proof of that. I expected the Blues to bounce back last weekend against arguably their weakest opposition so far this term and they blew it! A loss to Bournemouth shows that right now; Chelsea can lose to anybody. Even though Arsenal needs to overtake Leicester at the top, I’ll be honest here.
