London School of Economics and Political Science

London School of Economics and Political Science is inviting applications for Ambassador E.O. Kolade scholarship for masters students. Eligible applicants must be a national of, and resident in, a country in Sub-Saharan Africa. The selection will be based on merit and financial need. Scholarship is awarded to learn any of the courses offered by the university. The selection will be based on merit and financial need. The application deadline is April 27, 2016.


Chancellors International Development Scholarships at University of South Wales

University of South Wales is awarding Chancellors International Development Scholarships worth £2,500 (Sh385,000). These scholarships are available for undertaking undergraduate degree programme. Students do not need to make a separate scholarship application. They will be automatically considered for a scholarship when they make their application. The application deadline is January 15, 2016. Scholarships are awarded in all subjects offered by the university.



Leeds University Business School

Leeds University Business School is offering international scholarships for nationals of India, Kenya, Nigeria and Vietnam. These scholarships are available for undergraduate students who have demonstrated sustained academic excellence and have the potential to make a significant contribution to Business School life. Student will receive an award of £2,500 (Sh385,000) per year for each standard year of study towards the cost of fees. Scholarships are awarded in the field of Accounting and Finance, Business Analytics, Business Economics, Economics, Economics and Finance, Economics and Management, Human Resource Management, International Business, International Business and Economics, International Business and Finance, International Business and Marketing, Management, Management and the Human Resource and Management with Marketing. Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate programme at the Leeds University Business School. The deadline for applications is May 31, 2016.


David E I Pyott Master of Surgery in Clinical Ophthalmology Scholarship

David E I Pyott Foundation is offering six online distance learning master’s scholarships for the academic year 2016-2017. These scholarships are available for the students of sub-Saharan Africa, South East Asia, and South America.The scholarships will be awarded to students who are accepted for admission on to the online distance learning master of surgery (ChM) in Clinical Ophthalmology at the University of Edinburgh. Each scholarship will cover the tuition fee for the entire part-time programme of study as well as provide access to a broadband facility and a laptop. Scholarships are awarded in the field of Clinical Ophthalmology. The application deadline is July 29, 2016.


TGCL Scholarship for Postgraduate Students in Law

Tanzanian-German Centre for Eastern African Legal Studies is inviting applications for TGCL Scholarship starting on October 1, 2016. Scholarships are awarded for pursuing postgraduate studies (LLM or PhD). The LLM scholarship is for a period of one year, and the PhD scholarship for a period of three years. Funded by the German Foreign Office through the German Academic Exchange Service, scholarship can be taken in Germany and Tanzania. The requirements for admission to the LLM and PhD programmes are those applicable at the University of Dar es Salaam School of Law, i.e. for the LLM programme a Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or its equivalent from a recognised institution of higher legal education, and for the PhD programme an excellent LLM degree from a recognised institution. The deadline for applications is January 15, 2016.
