Chelsea Vs Arsenal Today 2:45pm

My Prediction: Blues...1 Gunners...3

Oh my! That’s how you start when in actual fact you have no idea what you’re going to write. As a passionate Gunner and biased “analyst” of course I will predict that Arsenal will win but here’s why. Yes as a biased “analyst” I’ll find a reason for everything. Arsenal are wounded! The midweek match against Dinamo Zagreb went so far off plan and it’s time to restore some pride in the team and hope in the hearts of the fans. Arsenal has a great side though Manager Arsene Wenger didn’t start our best players in the most challenging club competition in the world. Heaven knows why! What I do know is that no-one will be rested today. If Wenger is still wise he’ll start with Theo Walcott who has been scoring freely both in the league and for his country England. He’ll return Francis Coquelin to the starting line-up and who better to stop the Blue goals from going in than a former Blue shot stopper. So a definite start for Petr Cech! Chelsea were on fire midweek but hey they were playing a team from Israel. No disrespect to my friend Gilad Millo but when it comes to football, Israeli teams lose to everybody, starting with Chelsea. So I don’t know what the Blues are boasting about. I hope they are over confident coming into this fixture. Crystal Palace showed us two weeks ago that Chelsea can be beaten at Stamford Bridge and we— The Mighty Arsenal—are about to solidify that notion. Goodbye my Blues brothers! It’s time for you to really sink your teeth in the relegation zone. I just need to add here that receiving a video birthday message from Theo Walcott courtesy of Eddah’s Hope Cancer foundation was the highlight of my week. The best birthday present Walcott can give me now is a hat-trick against Chelsea. Wouldn’t that be fantastic!

Southampton Vs Man United, Tomorrow 6pm

My Prediction: Saints 2 Red Devils...2

Southampton are somewhat below par this season which is really sad. I have admired their past two season so much, not just because our dear Victor Wanyama plays there; but because they have been impressive as a team under Ronald Koeman even after losing key players over the past one year or so. But things have been disastrous for them this term. The Saints have just one win in five matches; very unlike them. So on paper, they are capable of beating the current Manchester United squad but not in form. Man United meanwhile have been just weird this season. I would like to say they’ve been below par as well, particularly when they lost to Swansea but they are third in the log with the same number of wins and losses as Arsenal. They also stumbled midweek in the Champions League against PSV but I do understand that the injury to Luke Shaw must have affected their concentration. I can’t believe I’m making excuses for United but I’m trying to be fair here. Southampton’s only loss this season though has been against Everton and we all saw what they did to Chelsea last weekend; so losing to an Everton side with a player called Naismith in it; isn’t all that bad. This game will be all square in my view.

Liverpool Vs Norwich, Tomorrow 6pm

Reds.....2 Norwich...0

Liverpool are playing some beautiful football at times but they are then going on to lose games they should have won; or at least equalized. I had so much hope in Liverpool against Manchester United last weekend but then I guess you can’t trust the Reds when it matters most. I’m not sure what happened but they completely crumbled under the force of the Red Devils; a Devils side that isn’t have a brilliant season. Scousers are already calling on Brendan Rodgers to be sacked after losing two of their opening five matches of the season. I think Rodger needs to be given time. He has a young side capable of doing well once they settle down. They may be down in 10th spot but we are at that time of the league when one or two wins can put you way up near the top of the table from anywhere. Norwich have a similar record to Liverpool’s this term are and only ahead of them on goal difference. Given that they are a much smaller side, it’s heart that’s pushing them along. Unfortunately I’m not sure how far that heart can go at the fortress known as Anfield. It’s a really intimidating place and I don’t believe Alex Neil’s troops can get anything here. Yes, I’ve put my money on Liverpool. No my account hasn’t been hacked! My prediction:
