My gut feeling is that all top teams will draw

Arsenal Vs West Brom tomorrow 6pm

My Prediction: The Gunners 1-1 West Brom

This game is just a technicality because there isn’t much to fight for. Arsenal only need to avoid losing to West Brom like Chelsea did; 3-0; and hope that Man United don’t beat Hull City 5-0.

Yes, a superior seven goal difference lies between Man United and Arsenal even if the Gunners lose tomorrow; and if eight goals are scored between these two matches, then the Premier League needs to open a match fixing investigation.

Arsenal played really well against Sunderland midweek but the glaring absence of a world class striker let the Gunners down. Four games without scoring is pretty tough for the Gunners. Yes we got a goal against United but it was an own goal. We just need to play for a draw here.

It will be an anticlimax but at least we’ll finish above United. West Brom have been outstanding in the last couple of weeks with wins over Chelsea and Man United and a draw against Liverpool. They will be so confident coming into this game but we’ll teach them.

Surprisingly however, with no pressure on the Gunners, we may just have a high scoring game in our favour.

Hull City Vs Manchester United tomorrow 6pm

My Prediction: Hull City 1-1 The Red Devils

Even though Man United will be looking to score more than five goals in this game and hope that West Brom do them a favour at Arsenal, I don’t think it’s going to happen.

Hull City are the only team in the relegation zone that can still survive but they need a win; and they need to hope that West Ham beat Newcastle. Anything is possible on the final day of the season with such odds at stake so Hull City will be fighting for their lives. United haven’t been convincing at all this season and once again this is a game they could lose.

LVG believe it or not is finishing the season without really knowing what his first eleven is and what formation best works with the players he has. I know that will change in the new season but for now United may be forced to make Hull their CSR project of the season; just the way Arsenal allowed Sunderland to draw with them as their CSR; confirming their survival midweek.

Both teams have the players to win with United having the upper hand of course. But judging by the draw at Old Trafford last week with Arsenal, United are struggling to win games of late.

Stoke City Vs Liverpool tomorrow 6pm

My Prediction: Stoke 2-2 The Reds

Liverpool are 5th and they’ll be struggling today to finish 5th. If they lose this game and Southampton beat Man City; and Tottenham win over Everton then Liverpool could drop to seventh.

It will be Steven Gerrard’s last game as a Red and with all the drama surrounding Raheem’s Sterling’s rude request to leave, the focus during this game may not be on the game itself. Too much happening off the pitch may affect performance just as it did last week during Gerrard’s last game at Anfield last weekend. Stoke can be trouble makers and I’m sure they’ll try to be; just for kicks.

Stoke are ninth and will finish ninth. They can’t catch up to Swansea in 8th and Everton in 10th can’t catch them; so what a meaningless game for them. Unfortunately this last day of the season is a little boring. The winner is known; in fact the top four are literally set.

Relegation is nearly set with Hull looking more likely to drop. The only battle is for a place in Europa. Mmmh.
