They have an amazing chemistry on-screen, they actually paved the way to become one of Bollywood’s most memorable and adored couple on the big screen. I’m talking about none other than Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan. They became the poster couple for romance in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and there’s been no looking back ever since.
Every time this couple came on the screen we fell more in love with them. In 2010, Kajol’s husband Ajay Devgan made some noises about Kajol’s best friend after they had filmed My Name Is Khan so things kind of died down after. However this gorgeous couple is now coming back in Rohit Shetty’s next venture Dilwale. We can’t wait for it to premiere.

Arjun Kapoor continues to campaign for Earth Hour
For two years in a row now, Bollywood star Arjun Kapoor (pictured) has been appointed as the brand ambassador of WWF’s World Earth Hour. The campaign urges everyone to turn off their lights for an hour as a stand against climate change. This is the first time that a celebrity has been reinstated for the second time for this campaign, largely because Arjun is able to influence young minds and bring about positive change.
World Earth Hour started in Sydney, Australia, in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses turned off their lights for an hour and thereafter, the campaign went global. The reduction in usage of electricity saves the planet from warming up too much. Earth Hour 2015 will be on Saturday, March 28, from 8.30-9.30pm.
Says Arjun Kapoor, “It feels good to stay associated with such a noble and important campaign. Just one hour can really make a difference. I hope this year too people switch off their lights and look forward to a better environment.”

Bollywood biggies want censor board chief sacked
Top filmmakers on Monday sought the ouster of censor board chief Pahlaj Nihalani, accusing him of creating a “hostile” environment. “It is unfortunate but we are unable to work with the present chief. He has created a hostile environment and made it impossible for us,” a source said after eminent film directors, producers and actors met the minister of state for information & broadcasting, Rajyavardhan Rathore.
Mukesh Bhatt, president of Film & TV Producers Guild of India, Anurag Kashyap, Ekta Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ritesh Sidhwani, Vidya Balan, Deepika Padukone, Ramesh Sippy, Shabana Azmi, Gulzar, Aamir Khan and Vishal Bharadwaj were among those who met the minister.
The move comes on the back of a spate of complaints from the film industry against Nihalani, who took charge in January. Soon after taking over as Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chairman, Nihalani revived a 2003 order to ban 28 cuss words. The list also included words like ‘Bombay’.
Despite strident opposition to the cuss list by the ministry and censor board members, movies have been asked to cut out “obscenities”. Recent films like Dum Laga ke Haisha and NH10 have suffered a series of cuts because of this unofficial order leading to unrest among filmmakers who feel that this could seriously impinge on the creative process. There are also reports that Nihalani has taken to clearing films himself in violation of the Cinematograph Act.
Salman Khan breeds horses at Panvel farm house
While Salman Khan loves his plush apartment at suburban Mumbai, the actor often likes to organise bashes and spend some relaxing moments at his spacious Panvel bungalow. Moreover, this farmhouse located in the outskirts of Mumbai, also gives shelter to many animals. From poultry to cows to other domestic animals and dogs, the actor owns these animals that are well tended by his staff at his Panvel farmhouse.
The latest addition to them, are two horses that are apparently named Bajrangi and Bhaijaan. From what we hear, Salman Khan developed the hobby of breeding horses after he met Randeep Hooda on the sets of Kick.
The two bonded well during the shoot of the film and were often spotted interacting and exchanging opinions about horses, because of which Salman too got interested in breeding horses. It is a well-known fact that Randeep Hooda is a polo player who not only owns horses but also owns a sports team in polo.
