Can the Gunners shoot down the Baggies? Of course, and they will

West Brom Vs Arsenal Today 3:45pm

My Prediction: West Brom 0-3 The Gunners

West Brom have beaten Tottenham and drawn with Manchester United so this is not small opposition by any means. They have however lost their last two games against Chelsea and Newcastle but they have been missing influential defender Jonas Olsson. Meanwhile key striker Saido Berahino was being questioned this week after being caught drunk driving nearly a month ago. Hopefully that will throw him off course so that he can’t cause problems for Arsenal’s defence. Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger must not underestimate this time especially since we, the Gunners will be playing away from home. Even though Arsenal won midweek against Borussia Dortmund we’ll still be hurting from that embarrassing home defeat to Manchester United last weekend. The good news is that Olivier Giroud can play in this game and hopefully Wenger will start him. That really should be an obvious move but I wouldn’t put anything past the Frenchman anymore. Arsenal will however be missing Jack Wilshere whose now out for up to three months; while Mikel Arteta is also facing a long spell on the sidelines, though I personally won’t miss him that much. When Arsenal are like two goals up then Wenger should bring in Yaya Sanogo for more practise. I respect the youngster but he needs a lot more game time before he can be totally reliable. Looking at all the permutations and knowing Arsenal’s desperation to get their league performance back on track, the Gunners will win this hands down.

Liverpool Vs Stoke City Today 6pm

My Prediction: The Reds 1-1 Stoke City

Oh Liverpool are in trouble! You have to go five games to find their last league win and even that was a struggle to beat QPR 3-2. Brendan Rodgers seems a little lost, particularly with Daniel Sturridge on the sidelines. They’ve lost to Newcastle, Chelsea and Crystal Palace in a row and midweek they lost a 2-1 lead in the 88th minute to draw 2-2 with Ludo Razgd. Coach Rodgers actually said early this week that he took full responsibility for the lack of morale in the Reds camp that led to the Palace loss. But I’m not sure what he did about it considering they couldn’t beat the lowly Ludo team. Stoke City however have had bad luck this week. On load forward Victor Moses is facing eight weeks out with a thigh injury; while most of the team is down with a virus. Three key players goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, Geoff Cameron and full-back Phil Bardsley were sent home as precaution after complaining of “feeling under the weather”. Because the virus started amongst the under 21s, manager Mark Hughes says their section of training was completely shut down this week. If Liverpool can’t beat a sick Stoke City then they should begin to prepare for relegation. I think they’ll still struggle in this tie. Poor Kieni Githinji and company.

Manchester United Vs Hull City Today 6pm

My Prediction: The Red Devils 2-0 The Tigers

So Man United are celebrating being fourth; that is so hilarious! But I guess their joy was because they beat Arsenal to get there. I hope LVG is fully aware that United did not dominate the game against Arsenal but because of a stroke of genius from Wayne Rooney, they won the game; which sadly is what was important. LVG is quickly learning that you don’t have to be the better team on the day, but you do need to focus on where the goal is and score. United are still missing key defensive players but if last week’s game was anything to go by; literally every player at Old Trafford has been taught how to defend. The Red Devils are so united right now and that is what is getting them points. Hull City haven’t won a game since they beat Crystal Palace on the 4th of October. Since then they’ve drawn with Arsenal and Liverpool and lost to Southampton, Burnley and Tottenham. The confidence at Hull is at an all time low and going to the Theatre of Dreams searching for points, won’t give them the results they are looking for. Pole sana but I predict a hands down win for United. PS I don’t like this prediction but I thought I’d be honest for once.

Sunderland Vs Chelsea Today 830pm

My Prediction: The Black Cats 0-3 The Blues

Why bother; Chelsea have won this. On a serious note; I won’t waste my time or yours going through why Chelsea will win because if you’ve been watching any of their matches or at least keeping an eye on their scores; then you’ll understand why I say that.
