Actor Sunny Deol, who is back in action with Anil Sharma’s Singh Saab The Great, believes there's no point in remaking any of his father Dharmendra's films as they are "iconic".
When Sunny was asked if he'd like to join the remake brigade and bring back any of his father's films to the big screen, he said: "I wouldn't do it for any other reason because dad's films have been such iconic films."
He added: "There is magic in them. The way the directors directed them, it's wonderful! We don't have directors who can understand the detailing of those films. I feel we should just see them and appreciate them.
"You can pick up an idea from them, but can't remake. I can't remake his films as they are iconic."
Dharmendra has starred in movies like Phool aur Pathhar, Yaadon Ki Baraat, Resham Ki Dori and Sholay.
KANGANA GOING GAGA
Kangana Ranaut makes many quirky fashion statements, and her style is sometimes compared to that of international singer Lady Gaga. However, the Bollywood actress says the comparison is not right. Gaga is known worldwide for her fashion antics like slapping raw meat on herself to attend award ceremonies and slashing an original Manish Malhotra sari that was gifted to her to wear on stage.
"Comparisons keep happening. I don't think I should be compared with Lady Gaga because I am an actress and she is a pop star," the 26-year-old said at the Blenders Pride Fashion Week.
"But every woman today is very powerful when it comes to fashion, be it Miley Cyrus or Lady Gaga - all of them are experimenting with their looks. I think in India also we should do a lot more of these looks and clothes and make women look very strong," Kangana added.
HAIR RAISING TALES ARE OVER FOR RANVEER SINGH
Ram-Leela actor Ranveer Singh has finally bid goodbye to his handlebar moustache and we must say it’s gonna take us as long as it will for him, to accept his more chikna look…
Ranveer and Deepika Padukone’s Ram-Leela hit the theatres, the critics’ verdict came out and now, finally, Ranveer has shaved off his much-discussed moustache. As long as we know, the cool dude was bonded with his facial fuzz. He and it were inseparable for months together…even longer that the shoots and promotions of the blockbuster hit film lasted. The Band Baaja Baaraat actor, who was clean-shaven in that first film, grew out of his boyish look when he finally sprouted his mooch-daadi. And then he got so used to the handlebars that made him look like a true Indian mard, that he was moved to tears (okay, so maybe not quite that literally) when he had to shave it all off.
While Ranveer looked a hunk with his rough and rugged look, we can’t say the same now that he is fuzz-free. Doesn’t his nose look bigger with his moustache gone? He’s quite a topic of interest with Vikash Pattni who does the Drive show on East FM. Catch up with Vikash for more hair-raising tales about Ranveer.
