President William Ruto has received his ' flowers' from Kenyans and International people for holding the first Africa Climate Summit.
The summit took place at the heart of Kenya's capital at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre which was renovated to the top-notch standard that hosted over 10 heads of state.
Atleast 30,000 delegates attended the summit, including prominent figures like the top US climate diplomat, John Kerry, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, UN secretary general, Antonio Guterres, and numerous African leaders.

Ruto has hosted the summit in his capacity as the coordinator of all African heads of state on climate change within the AU.
In his address on the second day of the Africa Climate Summit at KICC, Nairobi, Ruto said debt distress, worsened by the prevailing climate crisis, has impoverished Africa.
This poor state of affairs, he said, needs to change by having a financing model that does not sink the continent deeper into poverty, a worse-off state than debt.
