Kenya on Saturday recorded 136 new cases of Covid-19, raising the country's total to 35,020.

A statement by the Ministry of Health confirmed that 12 of the new cases were foreigners while 124 were Kenyans.
"Age-wise, the youngest is an eight-month-old infant, while the oldest is 75," the statement read. A total of 85 of the cases were males and 51 were females.
Nairobi continues to lead in the daily positivity rate, recording 35 cases in the last 24 hours.
Other counties with new cases include; Mombasa 25, Kajiado 11, Turkana 9, Kisumu 9, Migori 8, Nyandarua 7, Kilifi 7, Embu 6, Uasin Gishu 4, Busia 3, Kisii 3, Baringo 2, Kakamega 2, Elgeiyo Marakwet, Tharaka Nithi, Kiambu, Kitui and Trans Nzoia had 1 case each.
Another 99 patients have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country so far to 21,158.
A total of 64 of those discharged were from the home-based programme, while 35 were discharged from various health facilities.
Number of fatalities rose to 594 after five more patients succumbed to the virus.
