- The first- term MP said Cotu boss Francis Atwoli has no mandate to endorse Raila in Bungoma county.
- His Kimilili counterpart Didmus Barasa slammed the state for imposing tough rules on bodaboda riders.
Bumula MP Mwambu Mabonga has said the August 9 polls will show ODM boss Raila Odinga that his political career has expired.
Raila will be defeated by Kenya Kwanza coalition, he said.
Speaking at Bungoma Posta grounds on Friday during Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka's rally, the lawmaker trashed Azimio la Umoja coaltion.
If Raila were courageous enough he would have faced DP William Ruto without seeking sympathy from the state.
“Last week, the Azimio team was here but there was nothing they told Western region residents. I want to boldly tell them that they have no agenda to tell Kenyans,” Mwambu added.
The first- term MP said Cotu boss Francis Atwoli has no mandate to endorse Raila in Bungoma county, adding that the Luhya have their own norms for endorsing political candidates.
Mwambu said State House’s move to form "village parties" in every region to rally behind Raila’s candidature won’t scare the Kenya Kwanza brigade.
His Kimilili counterpart Didmus Barasa slammed the state for imposing tough rules on bodaboda riders.
He asked the Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai and Interior CS Fred Matiang’i to lift the ban and only punish the criminals. The crackdown has been stopped.
Barasa’s sentiments were echoed by Kabuchai MP Majimbo Kalasinga, who said that there are rogue police officers who are operating with fake identification cards. He asked the security authorities to intervene and take a stern action against them.
“Motorists are really suffering because they are facing harassment from both sides. It will be wise if CS Matiang’i and Mutyambai solved the problem,” Kalasinga said.
Kiminini MP Chris Wamalwa asked NCIC to take a stern action against ODM boss Raila Odinga over his "madoadoa" remark.
