The alleged corruption at the Health ministry should be investigated and Kenyans given the report immediately, Senator Zipporah Kittony has said.

The Senate Committee on Health vice chairperson said Kenyans should join hands and condemn corruption.

Kittony spoke at Upendo School in Kiminini, Trans Nzoia county, on Saturday. “I’m so disappointed with the alleged corruption in the Ministry of Health,” she said. “We must help the President to fight corruption using all possible means, because Sh5 billion is a lot of money to have disappeared”.

On Saturday in Sibanga, Cherangany, DP William Ruto defended the government’s handling of the saga. He said the government should not be accused of graft

before the facts have been established. “The audit was done to ensure no funds were misappropriated,” he said.
