• Ongeri rooted for peace and unity among aspirants seeking political seats in the region.
• Kisii's Governorship seat has already attracted more than seven candidates.
Kisii Senator Sam Ongeri has continued wooing his constituents as he steps up his bid for the county's top job.
Speaking at a prayer function at his Gesusu home on Friday, Ongeri exuded confidence in winning the ODM ticket as he reached out to the electorate for support.
"My record is an advert, what I have done all over across the county, and by extension Gusii, is testimony enough to what I will do again when our people give me chance," Ongeri said.
The Senator said he takes pride in the development projects he has initiated in schools, the health sector and even infrastructure.
This, he said, amplifies his credentials making him the most suitable for Governorship.

Kisii's Governorship seat has already attracted more than seven candidates.
They are; Dagoreti North MP Simba Arati, Nyaribari Masaba MP Ezekiel Machogu, ex-MPs Omingo Magara, Manson Oyongo, Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi, Woman Rep Janet Ongera and Rachel Otundo.
Last week, while speaking at Etanda, Ongeri told voters to look to overlook his age, which is 83, and give him a chance on the background of what he is capable of doing.
"Let's talk of what am capable of doing, and I have a record already to show for it," he told worshippers.
