Gem MP Elisha Odhiambo has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to reconstitute his Cabinet by dropping UDA sympathisers and replacing them with ODM loyalists.

He said there are men and women from the ODM party who can occupy key positions held by UDA sympathisers in government and propel the country to greater heights without confusion.

The Gem MP said it was foolhardy for Deputy President William Ruto's allies to criticise state projects when they are still in government.

Odhiambo said President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga have instructed them to start working on how to come up with a coalition ahead of the 2022 elections.

“I’m challenging those in small caucus like One Kenya Alliance to join the President and Raila to move the country to greater heights before and after 2022,” Odhiambo said.

The lawmaker said Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper, Musalia Mudavadi of ANC, Ford Kenya's Moses Wetang'ula and Gideon Moi of Kanu should not fear working as a team.

“We don’t want to experience some people crying foul after 2022 when Raila will be in State House,” Odhiambo said.
