Musyoka died pleading for justice to bring to book the killers of loved one.

A KDF officer who hit the headlines four months ago after making passionate pleas for the arrest of the killers of his wife and son has died.
Patrick Musyoka Ndana was buried alongside the wife and the son at their Nguutani home in Mwingi, Kitui county on Wednesday.
He catapulted himself to the limelight with a cry for justice after his wife and son were brutally hacked to death during separate attacks at their home.
The 59-year-old officer was bedridden in hospital at the time of the attacks by unknown assailants.
His late wife was hacked to death with a machete at their home on October 1, last year.
A month later, his 20-year-old son was also killed after he was attacked while on their family land.
Musyoka had been sick for two years. He died while pleading for justice to bring to book the killers of his loved ones.
"It is someone well known to us and he is doing this because he is monied and has vast connections," Musyoka said on January 4 during the burial of his 20-year-old son Brian Ndana
Fellow soldiers described Musyoka as a very hardworking, dedicated, loyal, and patriotic officer who interacted well with both his seniors and juniors. Musyoka joined the military in 1986
Nguutani assistant chief Simeon Kavive said the killing of Musyoka's wife and son were still under investigation and that several suspects had already been arrested.
Kavive also urged locals to stop living in fear as security within the area has been strengthened.
"We have intensified patrols in the area so there's no need for locals to live in fear," Kavive said.
The administrator condemned the cruel acts urging the locals to work closely with authorities to address insecurity issues.
