Two terror suspects arrested at Likoni-Ferry Crossing Channel

Two AK-47 rifles, ammunition and other items were recovered during the joint operation.

Two terror suspects were dramatically arrested by Special Forces detectives and Anti-Terror Police joint in Mombasa on Monday.

They were nabbed at the Likoni-Ferry crossing channel on the mainland side at around 10 am.

A video clip seen by the Star show detectives hastily surrounding the probox car registration number KCE 695U before arresting the two.

Two AK-47 rifles, mobile phones, ammunition and other items were recovered during the joint operation.

Coat Regional Police Commandant Manase Musyoka said a probe has already been launched into the matter.
