Don’t kill our only source of income, say mnazi sellers

Kwale palm wine sellers have accused security officials of harassing them.

They said the business they have depended on for decades to feed their families is being killed.

During a peaceful demonstration on Saturday at Mandingo in Ukunda, the brewers urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to clarify if making mnazi is illegal.

Resident Suleiman Mwajoto said the business is not helping them anymore.
