Mwingi West MP Charles Nguna has appealed to President William Ruto to save the Constituency Development Fund, from being abolished by marauding activists who according to him, know nothing about Kenyans.

Nguna castigated the judges for delivering judgement against the fund without first reading its Act.

“The fund has helped educate many children from poor families and created millions of jobs,” the second-term MP said.

He said stopping the CDF would disadvantage many poor families who depend on it for education bursaries and job creation.

Nguna said the CDF has done wonders since its inception and should be jealously protected by all people who care for the welfare of society.

The MP spoke on Monday during a meeting he convened with the CDF officials.
