Kenya has been re-elected for a four year term to the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) council.
Kenya garnered 146 votes, the highest in the African region, to secure a seat on the 48-member council.
This is Kenya’s best performance since 1982 when it first joined the Council.

“It is an inspiration for us to do more to deliver dividends of digital transformation to every citizen in the country,” CA said.
