As many celebrated Valentine's day and showered their loved ones with love and romance, Billboard released the top 50 love songs of all time.

Billboard is an international music and entertainment magazine that provides music charts, news, video, opinion, reviews, events and styles related to the music industry.

It tracks the most popular albums and songs in various music genres.

"To celebrate Valentine's day, Billboard rounded up the top 50 songs with 'love' in the title to hit the #Hot100," Billbord said through their Instagram page.

The romantic songs covered the era from 1958’s 'To Know Him Is to Love Him' by the Teddy Bears to 2019’s 'Someone You Loved' by Lewis Capaldi.

Billboard named 'Endless love' by Diana Ross and Lionel Richie as the top song.

The song was written by Lionel Richie and originally recorded as a duet between him and singer Diana Ross.

In the song, they declare their 'endless love' for one another.

It was covered by Luther Vandross with RnB pop singer Mariah Carey and country music singer Shania Twain. Kenny Rogers also recorded the song.

Boyz II men's 'I'll make love to you' came second.

The song was written by Babyface and released in July 1994 as the lead single from their second album.

It was the third best performing song in the 1990s on Billboard, as well as ranking on Billboard Greatest of All-Time chart.

Billboard had 'How deep is your love' by Bee Gees coming in third position.

It was then followed by 'We found love' by Rihanna featuring Calvin Harris.

At number five was 'Silly love songs' by Wings.
