Chief Justice Martha Koome on Monday bid farewell to the outgoing Commissioner Macharia Njeru in the Judicial Service Commission whose tenure of office is drawing to a close.

JSC is looking forward to swearing in the new Commissioner Omwanza Ombati on Tuesday morning. 

The Chief Justice extended sincere gratitude for Macharia's unwavering dedication to upholding justice, fairness and the rule of law throughout his tenure.

 "Macharia's leadership as Vice Chairperson of the JSC and Chairperson of the Audit, Governance, and Risk Management Committee has played a crucial role in driving substantial progress and tangible positive impact within the JSC, Judiciary and the broader justice sector," she said on Monday at the Supreme Court.

The CJ wished Macharia success in his future endeavours and warmly welcomed the incoming LSK male representative to the JSC, Omwanza Ombati. 

 We will continue championing collective transformation in the administration of justice.
