Musangi wins another taekwondo bronze

Jully Musangi won another bronze medal for Kenya in the women’s under 73 Kgs after losing to Omayma Boumin of Morocco in the semi-final.

Musangi had beaten Luzia of Mozambique in the quarter-final to reach the last four.

This is the second bronze in taekwondo after another Kenyan Faith Ogallo won the first in the heavyweight female +73kg category.

In weightlifting, Esther Khavetsa won the first bronze in the 45kg while Juliana Anyango, competing in the 81kg category, bagged three bronze after lifting 73kg in snatch and 92kg in clean and jerk, totalling 165kg.
